We try to do a food tour in every city we visit, and this is easily one of the best we've ever done. Molly is a native Melbournian, a 2nd (or maybe 3rd?) generation foodie, and has spent her life steeped in Melbourne hospitality culture. So she knows good quality food and coffee. This isn't one of those tours what you go to three random "representative" restaurants. This is a stroll through the largest open air market in the southern hemisphere, sampling fresh produce, seafood, cheeses, cured meats, wine, and craft beer, all while getting a fascinating history of the market and the people working in it. There is a delicious lunch in there as well but I found it the least interesting part of the day. Molly is a fantastic and engaging tour guide; she is so knowledgeable and has great stories, including, but not limited to, Australian politics, the history of Melbourne coffee culture, and ghosts. If we had more time, I would have done her coffee tour as well (I also would have bought all the food we sampled 😂). Can't recommend her highly enough!

This was one of the best tours my wife and I have been on in our travels. Molly was an awesome guide, showing us great spots and insights around Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market. Her knowledge of the neighborhood and the vendors added to the experience. The food was fresh and provided a variety. The drinks, coffee and wine/beer options were thoughtfully planned. Would recommend this for anyone, and especially those in the first few days in the city, as the recommendations on places to go for foodies is great.

Molly customized our tour to best fit our needs. She was knowledgeable about the food and culture of Mebourne/Australia. Food and drink was awesome!

Molly was a wonderful guide for this tour that included a cafe stop, several stops & tastings in the Queen Victoria Market, a small lunch at an interesting Japanese restaurant, ending with an adult beverage at a local brewery in the market. Very well organized & fun! Only little hiccup was where to meet because of the street numbers.
On the walking tour, guests will immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the market, sampling a variety of delicious snacks from local vendors. As they stroll through the market, they’ll meet the passionate storeholders who bring the place to life, each with their own stories and specialties. Afte guests can enjoy a refreshing alcoholic beverage with lunch at a local eatery, making it the perfect opportunity to relax, mingle, and soak up the unique vibe of the market.
