Clement was a great host. His tour is a an efficient and enjoyable way to get to know central Dijon, the history, architecture, art, shopping, and - most importantly - the gastronomy! Whether you are in town for a day or a week, start with Clement!

We were very fortunate to have been guided around the historical city center of Dijon by Clement Lassus – Minvielle, a knowledgeable and proud Burgundian who grew up locally. Clement has a background in archaeology and history, has authored a dozen books, and is often called upon to lecture groups. He walked us through the historical center of town focusing on the city's historical places, people, and cultural attributes, including some recommended shops, restaurants, and bakeries. We got further insight into his character the following day, as we walked away from a shop that was still to open, we mysteriously received a text message from Clement telling us to come back, the shop was open now, and about the same time we read the message, Clement tracked us down on foot to deliver the message in person. He had been perched nearby waiting to begin another tour this day. When he spied our frustrated attempt to enter the shop, he took the time and went out of his way to inform us it had opened after we left. He's a top-notch guide and a really good person. Only one hour with him is not enough.

Very interesting city which is enhanced by a good Guide. Lots of hidden gems which only the Guide knows about.
