Well organized walk, and despite many tourists, were able to appreciate the calm.

Walk giving access to beautiful landscapes. Certainly many banks, 4 per boat, piloted by professional rowers. Price correct 300k. Free scooter parking. Part of Ninh binh's must-sees. We did the 2-hour stop for temples, caves, included. There were few people but the site is planned to accommodate a lot of tourists (barriers planned for long lines). So find out about possible attendance first.

What a brilliant day trip including the boat trip through the three caves. Our boat woman was skilled, fun and delightful. We were lucky to go the 1000m cave with no boats ahead of us: very special.

It starts off a bit chaotic getting bundled onto the boats but after you set off its really nice. Be prepared to do some rowing its part of the fun! Tour 1 was much quieter and you go through more small caves, however a few of the stops for “temples” were disappointing (just small shrines). If you want the better tour but don’t mind the crowds i would say 2 or 3 is better but definitely way busier. Fairly priced for a 3 hour activity and cheap to get a taxi to/from Ninh Binh.
Stop At: Bai Dinh Pagoda, Gia Sinh, Ninh Binh Province
This vast expanse of religious monuments, completed in 2014, is Vietnam's largest Buddhist complex. Highlights include a 40-ton (36-tonne) bell, a 32-foot (10-meter) Buddha, a 13-storey pagoda, and an avenue lined with 500 statues.
You'll break for an included lunch at 12:30pm – your chance to sample local specialties including goat meat.
