Bastogne inside track with personable host

PDXOregoncamper, Jul 2025

We had a terrific day with our new friend, History Wolf! He picked up our family of four promptly from our Luxembourg Hotel and off we went to spend the day learning about The Battle of the Bulge! The conversation was lively and fun and we especially enjoyed learning his unique perspective on the post war impact in Eastern Europe. Our group skewed young and he met us where our knowledge base started. Overall a perfect experience. 100% recommend.

Wonderful experience

Travel15002245005, Jun 2025

Dear Istvan, I want to sincerely thank you for the deeply meaningful experience you gave us during the Battle of the Bulge tour. Visiting the American cemetery in Luxembourg and standing at my uncle’s gravesite was something we will carry with us forever. Your thoughtfulness—taking photos, helping us trace his name, and treating the moment with such care and respect—meant more than I can say. You went far beyond the role of a guide. And then to learn that after the tour you took the time to investigate more about my uncle’s unit, the 94th Infantry Division, and their discovery of a concentration camp shortly after his death, that act of kindness and dedication truly touched our hearts. It added even more depth and significance to our journey. Thank you for everything you did. You didn’t just share history with us, you helped us feel connected to it. With heartfelt gratitude, Phil and Debbie Meyer

Undoubtedly the most touching words ever written about my being a tour guide. Whenever I'll visit the Luxembourg American Cemetery in the future, I know of someone there who is like a family member to me now

István is a great host for the tour and tailored our guy trip experience for a WWII trip of a lifetime! He was very attentive to make sure we saw all we wanted to see and was knowledgeable of the sites and history for easy navigation of our plans.
