Patricia was a wonderful host, very friendly and knowledgeable. It is clear she has put a great deal of effort into building relationships with local vendors to support her tour. We ended up with a private tour for two of us, because nobody else was booked that time and date. Many other tour reps would have cancelled, but Patricia did not want to let us down, she is very reliable and arrived promptly. We tasted many delicious local treats and had the origins of the cuisine explained. I visited several of the shops after the tour to buy delicacies to bring home. I smiled as I spotted them when unpacking my case, mementos of a truly enjoyable, unique experience. Thank you Patricia, your tour was perfect!

Wonderful tour with great food. Patricia was an excellent guide, so friendly and welcoming. It was a hot day and she kept the pace easy and relaxed and in the shade where she could, a most enjoyable experience

Great for solo travelers and groups! I did this tour because I wanted to get a local view of the town and learn something. Patrice was very accommodating and knowledgable. Glad I went with an empty stomach! The lemon drinks are strong and delicious!

Patricia was very communicating and adapted to different requests. Very thoughtful and very kind. We highly recommend. Very good time. Thank you again! ????
As an appetizer, let us savor a few sips of Provence's wines, delicately infused with the citrus fruits of Menton, crafted by one of the region's most renowned fruit producers.
After the wines, what could be better than tasting Socca? Socca is our famous local pancake made from chickpea flour. We enjoy it simply, served warm with a sprinkle of black pepper on top.
Next, it’s time to explore the charming market of Menton. Here, we’ll meet local producers and make a stop at Giuseppe’s store to enjoy some toasts topped with tapenade. This delightful paste, made from either black or green olives with a hint of lemon, beautifully captures the essence of Menton.
Gathered around a table in the shade of the market hall, we will indulge in a selection of local specialties:
Pichade: A delightful variation of pizza, made with a crispy crust and topped with fresh tomatoes, onions, and aromatic herbs. Flavored with thyme and anchovies, this dish is a true treat for the taste buds!
Pissaladière: A savory tart featuring a thin, flaky crust topped with caramelized onions, black olives, and anchovies. The harmonious blend of sweet, savory, and subtly salty flavors makes it a cherished regional delicacy.
Barbajuan: A fried ravioli crafted from delicate dough and filled with a delicious mixture of ricotta cheese, Parmesan, herbes de Provence, and Swiss chard.
The fifth stop takes us to Plage des Sablettes, a stunning seaside location where many of Menton's renowned restaurants are nestled, offering both breathtaking views of the sea and exquisite cuisine. Here, we’ll gather at the table of the celebrated chef Mauro Colagreco's restaurant to enjoy a selection of Italian cheeses and charcuterie, perfectly paired with Provençal wine. What a delightful experience!
Have you ever experienced the exquisite taste of truffle? Our fourth tasting will feature the renowned white truffle! We will sample a variety of creams and pastes, expertly prepared in the traditional Italian style with white truffles from Alba.
Now, let’s indulge in tarte au citron!
This classic lemon tart from Menton is cherished for its vibrant citrus flavor and delightful contrast of textures. We’ve handpicked a particularly exquisite one for you to enjoy—you’re sure to fall in love with every bite!
We are also delighted to introduce you to the exquisite orange cake crafted by chef Mauro Colagreco, perfectly paired with a rich Italian espresso!
Let’s conclude our tour with a refreshing glass of Limoncello liqueur—you’re sure to love it!
