This Kyoto Beauty Experience Tour is guided by Kyoto local lady who is working for beauty salon more than 10 years.
Not many people know there is a beauty shrine in Kyoto, and also the hospitality in those beauty industry are really good according to Kyoto's traditional culture.
The guide also knows well about the healthy food to get inner beauty as her mother is macrobiotic cooking teacher.
As her grandmother is a real Geisha, she also knows a lot of Kyoto traditional life and culture.
The guide has worked at Epcot, Walt Disney World in Florida, her English is good enough to communicate.

Kawai Shrine
Kawai Shrine, within the grounds of Shimogamo Shrine near Demachiyanagi Station, is a shrine with a particular appeal to women. We call it as Beauty Shrine.
They have hand mirror-shaped EMA to pray to get beauty and good looking.

Shimogamo Shrine is just next to Kawai Shrine!
One of seventeen UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kyoto, the shrine complex is surrounded by the Tadasu no Mori forest that shelters visitors in a world of green.
There is a small shrine called "Aioi no Yashiro" inside the Shimogamo Shrine and this shrine is dedicated to the god of good marriage and the guardian of engagement, Kamumusub-no-Kami. People come both to pray and to pick a fortune slip based on lines in the Tale of Genji, hoping their marriage will fare better than the protagonist’s. The romance lingers in the trees nearby, where one mysterious holly is actually the product of two intertwined trees. This “Renri no Sakaki” tree is the subject of one of Kyoto’s Seven Myths.
