Overview

Originating over a thousand years ago in the Heian period, yakatabune boats were originally exclusive venues for nobles and samurai to enjoy moon-viewing parties. By the Edo period, they became popular among wealthy merchants for elegant gatherings. Today, these wooden boats retain their classic design and tatami interiors, offering guests a time-traveling cultural experience.
Each spring, as cherry blossoms bloom along Tokyo’s riversides, guests can admire the stunning sakura scenery while also taking in views of Tokyo Bay’s skyline. Onboard, enjoy a Wagyu sukiyaki meal paired with traditional live performances, making it one of the most memorable ways to experience Japan’s springtime charm.

Fun evening boat tour

Cute boat, great staff. Tasty food you cook yourself at table with propane stove..stops at Daibo for sights and photos. 1 1/2 hour trip. Clean boat.
Japanese Dinner Boat Experience

It isn't a dance show, it is someone singing. You cook your own food at the table which was a new experience. It all tasted great. Tried Saki and liked it. The lady manager spoke English very well. You get about 15 minutes up-top when the boat is in the harbour. Good opportunity take photos of the back of the "Statue of Liberty" which faces the land.

It was nice , but short, we expected to see more sights but the boat windows won’t allow much of outside views, i think it was little overpriced to what they offer.

Don’t go to transfer tickets more than 30 minutes ahead of time as there is no office, only a young lady standing on the warf of the River. Secluded but seemed safe enough on her approach to ask us if we were part of the activity.
