Overview
Indulge your senses during this 3-hour tasting tour in Montefalco. Visit a winery in the Sagrantino region and stroll through the old vineyards and olive groves. Tour the wine cellars where some of Umbria’s best wines are produced before sampling a number of wines and olive oils. Even more than I expected. Jessica’s knowledge about the winery, the wines and the process was phenomenal. She clearly knew her stuff. Walking the grounds and talking about each grape varietal and the olive tress was fascinating. The tasting itself was incredible. The food was delicious and the staff was attentive. It was a wonderful experience.

Jessica was our tour guide. It makes a difference when your guide is knowledgeable of the products made in which this winery and oil mill produced from the grape vines to the olive trees! The picking, the processes, the production, the storage, to the labeling of the bottles for shipping. The olive oil milling was amazing how fast the process is for cold pressed EVOO! The harvest for the grapes is this week, which we will miss, unfortunately. The harvest for the olives is the end of October to November. If you get a chance to go during these times you won't regret it. The tastings of the wines and the oils are delicious especially with the lunch pairings provided. Don't miss this tour!!

Montefalco
An exciting guided tour of an oil mill and winery in Montefalco, the famous area for wine production in Umbria.
In the renowned region of Sagrantino, just outside of the city, you’ll visit the winery and the oil mill, tasting wines, extra virgin oil and traditional food. You’ll also tour the vineyards.You will visit our vineyards, photograph our ancient olive trees, see how oil is produced in our oilmill, enter our Cellar and admire in silence, as our prestigious Sagrantino wine "rests" in wooden barrels. At the end you will taste our productions in our warm and welcoming tasting area!

Umbrian salami, Homemade pizza, Omelette, Caprese (Mozzarella & Pomodoro)
