A beautiful, comfortable and interesting tour.

Helen M, Aug 2025

There were three in our group and we travelled with five other passengers. The van was very comfortable and spacious. The weather was warm and the temperature in the van was comfortable. Marek, our tour guide was wonderful. He is an excellent driver! He was professional, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. The tour was exactly as described and Marek kept it all running smoothly and on time. I would highly recommend this tour.

Too little time exploring

Stevens0220, Aug 2025

The trip was good seeing two different places but it was way too over packed. 2 hours free time in Hallstatt and 1 hour 45 minutes in Salzburg were too rushed considering the journey was about 7 hours. I’d prefer just do Salzburg alone and spend a bit more time there. It might be cheaper going by yourself on the train.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Thank you for your feedback. Just to clarify, the itinerary clearly states around 2 hours at each destination in total, so this should be taken into account when booking the tour. The time you mentioned refers only to free time — in Hallstatt, guests actually had about 2 hours and 20 minutes of free time, plus a 20-minute boat ride, making it roughly 2 hours and 40 minutes in total. In Salzburg, it was about 2 hours and 30 minutes. We do understand that the locations can feel crowded, especially during peak season — and while we’d love to adjust the number of tourists at Austria’s most popular sights and control the weather too, unfortunately that’s still a bit outside our power. For a slower-paced day, visiting just one place by train might indeed be the best option for you.

It's I'm a long day,...

Greg_B, Aug 2025

It's I'm a long day, however comfortable in the Mercedes van we were in. And how else are you going to see those two must-see places if you don't have plans to go and stay. So we thoroughly enjoyed it and Marek our guide was very knowledgeable and kind.

Great Experience!

Saw so much in one day! Lots of driving but you truly get to see the whole countryside which was a big deal for me. Marek was a great guide and driver. Thanks so much!
